The 1998 vintage armagnac from Domaine Del Cassou, bottled as a brut de fut by L’Encantada, is aged 27 years in Gascon oak casks — an authentic expression of Bas-Armagnac terroir.

Distilled by traditional continuous armagnac still from Ugni Blanc, Baco, this unfiltered, uncut vintage perfectly reflects the character of the Domaine Del Cassou, one of L’Encantada’s hand-selected estate producers.

Tasting notes: Golden amber robe. Balanced nose of stone fruits, vanilla and light wood. Round, elegant palate with notes of gentle spice and a fresh, aromatic finish.

Serving: Enjoy neat at room temperature in a tulip glass. Perfect as a digestif or on special occasions.

Tasting note

Nose

This vintage offers an olfactory palette with notes of citrus, hyacinth followed by a little peppery side. We feel the rustic aspect of the baco. Then, peach stone, almond and nougat effluvia appear… a light mead aroma invites itself to the tasting.

Palate

This vintage is balanced, firm and smooth. An expressive reglissé side followed by the confit of the old plum. To these flavors are added notes of green nuts bringing acidity to balance the sensations. A herbaceous cloud crosses the palate, the vanilla aromas come to seduce our taste buds.
