Located in Mauléon d’Armagnac, in the heart of Bas-Armagnac, this estate ages its eaux-de-vie in new oak barrels from the region, to further support this regional identity.
From the Gascon word for “poplars”, the Lous Pibous estate was named after the trees at the bottom of the vineyard slope.
Tasting note
Nose
Very engaging, intense woodiness. Initially a little firm, gradually leading to greater power and complexity. Notes of honey, apricot, dried fruit, fig and mahogany. Very elegant and attractive!
Palate
A veritable explosion of flavours! Very intense and despite its high ABV, the alcohol is well worked. A strong but elegant character. Notes of fruit and honey add roundness.
Overall
Perfectly balanced, harmonious and powerful.
This Armagnac is beautifully crafted and will offer a fantastic experience to those who know how to wait. Congrats!
