Description
From the Gascon word for “poplars”, the Lous Pibous estate was named after the trees at the bottom of the vineyard slope.
Tasting note
Nose
Buttery pastry delicacy, varnished wood and honey
Palate
The pastry side is well in place, and that’s a pleasure. Oak is also present and a little spicy. Once again, a sweet and salty note.
Overall
Long-lasting, with a hint of mint and dark chocolate. But it’s essentially a note between woody and buttery that dominates.
