The 2002 vintage armagnac from Domaine Cutxan, bottled as a brut de fut by L’Encantada, is aged 23 years in Gascon oak casks — an authentic expression of Bas-Armagnac terroir.

Distilled by traditional continuous armagnac still from Folle Blanche, Ugni Blanc, this unfiltered, uncut vintage perfectly reflects the character of the Domaine Cutxan, one of L’Encantada’s hand-selected estate producers.

Tasting notes: Pale gold robe. Floral and fruity nose — citrus, white flowers, light vanilla. Fresh, elegant palate with clean aromatic finish.

Serving: Enjoy neat at room temperature in a tulip glass. Perfect as a digestif or on special occasions.

Tasting note

Nose

Woody, spicy nose (pepper, curry, clove, caraway) followed by vanilla, baked apple, and crème brûlée aromas. Next come dried fruits, figs, dates, and perhaps a hint of cola.

Palate

A bold attack, swept away by a silky texture, Armagnac prune ice cream, walnuts, raisins, dark chocolate, dulce de leche, and baked brioche. The palate reveals aromas of cooked pineapple and ripe banana.

Overall
