In the heart of Bas-Armagnac, near Campagne d’Armagnac, this family estate has been distilling its Armagnacs since 1976, perpetuating the expertise initiated by the previous generation. The vineyard covers 30 hectares, with a variable proportion dedicated to Armagnac depending on the vintage. On clay-limestone soils, the Ugni Blanc and Colombard grape varieties produce Armagnacs aged in beautiful Gascon oak barrels, patiently matured in humid cellars, giving them a unique aromatic signature

The 1985 vintage armagnac from Domain Artigaux, bottled as a brut de fut by L’Encantada, is an exceptional eau-de-vie from the Gers terroir, aged 40 years in Gascon oak casks.

The Domain Artigaux is one of the carefully selected estates in our portfolio, renowned for the quality of its brandies. This 1985 vintage, crafted from Folle Blanche, faithfully expresses the character of the Bas-Armagnac terroir through traditional continuous still distillation.

Tasting notes: Deep amber robe. Intense nose of candied fruits, blond tobacco and aged leather, with notes of walnut, vanilla and a classic rancio. Rich, silky palate with soft tannins, chocolate and an exceptional aromatic persistence.

Serving suggestion: Best enjoyed neat at room temperature in a tulip glass to reveal its full aromatic palette. Ideal as a digestif, paired with dark chocolate, dried fruits or a quality cigar. A great vintage year for Armagnac. Over 38 years of ageing.
