Description
The Ninkasi brewery-distillery produces single malts brewed, distilled and aged in Tarare, a few kilometers from Lyon. Each bottle bears witness to a unique know-how based on barley malts (first brewed in 1997) and barrel aging of wines from the region’s terroirs.
Tasting note
Nose
A true ode to gourmet pleasure. Tonka bean and salted butter caramel mingle on a background of white grapes. A hint of cocoa and a slight oxidative note (prune) appear.
Palate
Plum and apricot compote generously coat your mouth.
Overall
Long and suave. A smoky note and lemony thyme round out the journey.
