In the heart of the Bas-Armagnac region, the village of Lagrange was home to the Le Sablé Armagnac estate before its vines were torn down. Only three vintages, as rare as they were exceptional, were produced: 1973, 1974 and 1976.
Distilled from the Baco grape, these brandies are round and smooth. A typical example of what an author’s Armagnac is, it was aged for 40 years in barrels at the estate in the cellar before being put into Dame-Jeanne.
